Day 1. Cali

Arrival in Cali, assistance at Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Accommodation.

Day 2. Cali – City Tour + Salsa Class

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed-upon time, pick-up in the hotel lobby. We begin the tour with a visit to the Grupo Niche Monument. Then, we will take a walk along the River Boulevard, a place that allows you to experience urban life and appreciate the architecture of La Ermita Church and the Ortiz Bridge. We continue to La Merced Church, the place where Cali was founded, full of history and significance. We will explore the colonial neighborhood of San Antonio, home to the second oldest church in the city. We continue to the Gato del Río (River Cat) and the picturesque Parque las Novias del Gato (Cat's Brides Park). The tour concludes at a craft shop, where you can purchase souvenirs and enjoy a typical snack.

We end the experience with an hour-long Cali-style salsa class, where you'll learn about the characteristics and influences that have made this genre unique and significant to Cali's culture.

Day 3. Cali – Hacienda Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Passengers have the option of visiting either Providencia Ecological Park or Hacienda El Paraíso before exploring Buga. Providencia Ecological Park consists of two main areas:

Hacienda Piedechinche: an architectural gem that reflects the essence of traditional Valle del Cauca architecture. Here, you can relive life from bygone eras, exploring the customs, utensils, and furniture characteristic of the colonial period. The Sugar Cane Museum offers a tour through different stations showcasing traditional sugar mills from various regions of Colombia. This experience allows visitors to understand the evolution of these machines over time and their value within the country's agricultural history. All of this takes place in a spectacular natural setting, surrounded by birds, majestic trees, flower gardens, and streams that create a tranquil and enchanting atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Hacienda El Paraíso is renowned for its architectural beauty and lush gardens. Built in the 19th century, it combines colonial elements and is considered a symbol of the cultural heritage of the Valle del Cauca region. It is also famous for having been the setting of the novel María by Jorge Isaacs, one of the most representative works of Latin American Romantic literature. After the tour of the selected site, we will enjoy a typical Valle del Cauca lunch and continue to Buga, where we will visit the centuries-old Basilica of the Lord of Miracles and have time to purchase religious items or souvenirs. Return to the hotel.
