Cena con bailes folclóricos y nestinarianos (en régimen compartido):
celebre el inicio del viaje formando parte de una noche típica búlgara con una deliciosa cena de bienvenida y un programa folclórico. Canciones, bailes... qué noche mágica llena de momentos inolvidables. Los bailes nestinari, un baile descalzo sobre brasas ardientes, que forman parte del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la UNESCO, te dejarán sin palabras. Este ritual te llevará de vuelta al misterio de las creencias ortodoxas orientales, junto con las antiguas tradiciones paganas de las montañas de Strandza.

Tras un delicioso desayuno en el hotel, podrá empezar a explorar la capital de Bulgaria a su propio ritmo. Puede pasear por el centro de la ciudad y visitar la catedral ortodoxa más grande de Bulgaria, la de San Alejandro Nevski, con una impresionante cúpula dorada y un interior suntuoso. La caminata puede continuar con los lugares más importantes del centro: la Rotonda de San Jorge, la iglesia rusa de San Nicolás y el Teatro Nacional Ivan Vazov. No deje de tomar una taza de café en la calle peatonal Vitoshka y sienta la atmósfera de esta vibrante ciudad. Como alternativa, si quieres que te guíen por la historia y los lugares más interesantes de Bulgaria, puedes optar por realizar uno de los siguientes recorridos opcionales (no incluidos):
Excursión al monasterio de Rila y a la iglesia de Boyana (en régimen compartido):
El monasterio de Rila es definitivamente una visita obligada si estás en Bulgaria. Los balcones porticados, los frescos únicos, obra de uno de los pintores más famosos del período renacentista búlgaro, el iconostasio dorado, las fabulosas vistas a las montañas... y la combinación única de todos ellos, hacen que la visita al monasterio sea extraordinaria y memorable. Dispondrá de alrededor de una hora de tiempo libre en el monasterio de Rila para explorar el sitio más visitado de Bulgaria por la UNESCO, entrar en la iglesia principal y la galería del nártex, admirar las exhibiciones del Museo de Historia del Monasterio, probar los sabrosos «mekitsi» (rosquillas búlgaras) con un delicioso yogur de búfala (una especialidad local) o incluso dar un corto paseo por la zona. Luego, regresa a Sofía, donde te espera el próximo monumento de la UNESCO. Los frescos de la iglesia de Boyana suponen un cambio de época en la pintura mural y se consideran los predecesores del Renacimiento europeo. La mayoría de las más de 240 figuras allí representadas muestran individualidad, vitalidad y profundidad psicológica.

Plovdiv es la segunda ciudad más grande del país y la ciudad continuamente habitada más antigua de Europa, con una historia que abarca más de 6.000 años. Dé un paseo por las calles empedradas del casco antiguo y pase por el impresionante Teatro Romano, las casas de estilo antiguo, las fortificaciones de Nebet Tepe, el antiguo estadio, así como el arte callejero, las galerías, las iglesias antiguas, las mezquitas ornamentadas, los cafés exóticos y los bares elegantes. Disfrute descubriendo la ciudad a su propio ritmo y conozca realmente Plovdiv por su cuenta durante su tiempo libre en la ciudad.
